Votrient 400mg (pazopanib) is a cancer medication that interferes with the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. Votrient 400mg (pazopanib) is used to treat advanced renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer).

Votrient 400mg (pazopanib) is also used to treat soft tissue sarcoma (a tumor that can develop in or around muscles, tendons, joints, organs, or blood vessels). Votrient 400mg (pazopanib) is usually given after other cancer medications have been tried without successful treatment of soft tissue sarcoma.

You should not use Votrient 400mg (pazopanib) if you have severe liver disease. Votrient 400mg (pazopanib) can cause severe or life-threatening liver problems. You will need frequent blood tests to check your liver function. Votrient 400mg (pazopanib) can lower blood cells that help your body fight infections and help your blood to clot. You may get an infection or bleed more easily.
